It is a beautifully made lunch box. However the main reason I got it was that I wanted a lunchbox that was waterproof. This isn’t. The gasket seal rarely stays in place long enough for you to get the lid on and the seal secure. So it leaks.
I wouldn’t recommend.

The silicone seal is designed to be a push-fit into the groove around the lid of the lunchbox. When washing, we recommend that you remove the seal to allow both parts to get well cleaned. After they are completely dry, push the seal back into place with the flat side against the metal.
If you experience issues with the seal staying in place, firstly ensure that the parts are indeed clean and dry. If you still find the seal will not stay in place, please get in touch and we will send you a replacement seal.
We've had these lunchboxes for just over a week now and they've been great. I was looking for a lunch box that contained no plastic. They have a silicon sealing ring that creates a tight seal. They go in the dishwasher. No sharp edges.
The separater is useful but won't keep cookie crumbs off the strawberries if your son tends to chuck his school bag around!
Beautifully packaged and arrived quickly. So far definitely worth the cost.

I finally made myself invest one for me and one for my wife after had enough of food tasting like dishwasher tablets from plastic containers after used in dishwasher.

The only reason I was considering reducing half a star because although I ordered in the morning with next day delivery, order wasn’t despatched until next day.
For such an expensive lunch box, I could’ve expect the next day delivery to be next day.
To be fair it is not a big deal and the welcome discount did compensate for it.
